CityBlogUSA gives Residents Home Town Blogging Network

Want the inside scoop on a city before you move? Need advice about local real
estate, jobs, lifestyles, neighborhoods or finding the best pediatrician? Ask the
people who live there. CityBlogUSA brings consumers a hometown network that empowers
them to create a local show and tell with residents.

Phoenix, AZ. (ePartner USA, Inc.) August 6, 2007. The Consumer was just
handed more power in the real estate transaction equation. Residents now
have their own community blogging network where they can post
information about their favorite cities or hometown, giving others an
unvarnished peek at life inside.
"We're the talk of the town," said Donald Teel, Founder of CityBlogUSA,
the nation's largest blogging network dedicated to resident blogging for
the benefit of consumers who are contemplating relocation. "It's more
than a catchy slogan because a growing number of people would prefer to
ask a resident who lives in a community for advice about find a
physician, jobs, home values, local organizations, politics and other
issues before they open a dialogue with a real estate agent," said Teel.
The CityBlogUSA Network includes national, state and local blogging niches for every
city regardless of size, blanketing more than 300 million people. Residents in the
smallest towns of mid-America have the same opportunity as those in Los Angeles or
New York City and they can create their own topics known as a "Park Bench" inviting
others to sit and talk about local issues important to residents.
According to Teel, "CityBlogUSA can help demystify the relocation process for
consumers by allowing them access to the most knowledgeable people in any city, the
residents, bringing new transparency to the relocation process and the real estate
industry."
A frustrated resident posted this comment in the Kingman, Arizona blog,
demonstrating the power of local experience: "I have been here 1 year this June
(2007) and have yet to find a doctor that will accept new patients. I am very
discouraged that there is no avenue for new residents to find out who is available
without a lot of labor intensive efforts."
Of course, this resident didn't have CityBlogUSA as a resource before deciding to
relocate. Advance dialogue with residents may have help locate a doctor before
moving to Kingman.
The CityBlogUSA Network invites residents to become local authors and commenters,
free of charge. Local businesses and others may participate by becoming "Park Bench
Sponsors" through online directory and featured ads. Real Estate agents may
participate by becoming Sponsors who provide real estate and relocation advice about
their city.
Residents can be more than bloggers; they can be local photo journalists
who upload interesting photos about their State and city that others
will find intriguing and helpful.
